This event was created by Joshua Blank. Josh grew up in Chattanooga, TN giving him a subtle southern charm that you’ll never miss when you strike up a conversation with him. After those formative years, he had a brief period living in Columbia, MO where he felt content, but something wasn’t quite right. The area was fine, but every time he filled up his car with gas, the stations just left something to be desired. In search of the perfect gas station, he quit his job, packed his single bag, and traveled across America. After several months of looking, he became disheartened. No gas station had the perfect combination of customer service, quality of products, and the homey aesthetic he required. Defeated, he boarded a plane on the 19th of November 2023 to head back home with nothing to show for his 26.2 months of searching. On the flight back, a freak storm hit and blocked the flight path, and the plane was forced to land in Madison, Wisconsin. Being unable to leave for 3 days, Josh ran out into the city in hopes to find shelter. Running through the cold November night, there seemed to be something different in the air in that fateful city. Like a moth to a flame, he was drawn to a red glow that permeated the air. At the end of that glow lay what he had been searching for all this time. Kwik Trip. Unfortunately he froze to death that night in the parking lot.
